Account upgrade/downgrade

Introduction

This tutorial explains how to upgrade/downgrade cPanel package from Reseller's WHM admin panel

Requirement

• a WHM account

Steps to follow

• Once logged in to the WHM administration panel, search for "Account Upgrade/Downgrade" in the top left search box and select the result

• in the next window a list of all accounts held by the reseller will be displayed

• if the reseller has several accounts, the search box on the page can be used

• after selecting the desired account, press the "Change" button located at the bottom of the page

• the next window will show the current package owned by that account at "Current Package"

• within the same pages will also be present the packages created by the reseller under the section "Available Packages"

• after selecting the desired package from that list, the button is pressed "Upgrade/Downgrade"

• after the successful execution of the operation, a summary of it will be displayed that includes the changes made to the account

NOTE: Upgrading or downgrading an account does not affect its dedicated IP address.
