Adding a subdomain to cPanel

Introduction

This tutorial explains the steps needed to add a subdomain.

Requirement

  • cPanel account administration data

Steps

  • To be able to add a subdomain, we will log in to the cPanel account, go to the Domains section and click on Subdomains.

  • A new page will open, and in the immediately following fields we will add the name of the subdomain, in our case dev. We will select the domain for which we want to add the subdomain (hostico.ro), and in the last field we can add the root of the directory that will be created automatically.

Creare subdomeniu cPanel

  • Completion of this operation will be done by clicking on Create.
