DNSSEC activation in cPanel
Activate DNSSEC in cPanel to secure the DNS protocol. Follow the simple steps to generate the keys necessary for the configuration.

Introduction
- DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) is an extension of the Domain Name System (DNS) on the Internet, aimed at securing this protocol through the use of encryption algorithms.
- The cPanel control panel allows us to generate the keys necessary for DNSSEC configuration.
Requirements
- We will need the cPanel login details
Steps
- First, we will log in to the cPanel control panel.
- Once we have logged into the control panel, we will navigate to the Domains section and click on Zone Editor.
- On the right of the domain for which we want to configure DNSSEC, we will click the DNSSEC button
- Further, we will click on the Create Key button
- After that, click the Create button again. If we need custom settings, we can click the Customize button. The default settings will work with most registrars.
- After the generation is complete, we will be able to see the records by clicking the View DS Records button.
- In the next window, we will find the keys needed to configure DNSSEC in the registrar panel.
