By activating CloudFlare from cPanel, the nameservers provided by the hosting provider will remain set on the domain, and the options and statistics displayed will only be the basic ones.
If you instead set the CloudFlare nameservers on the domain, the management of the DNS zone will be done directly from the CloudFlare account, and the options and statistics offered will be more complex.
Also, when activating CloudFlare using its nameservers, subsequent management of the DNS zone will be done from the CloudFlare panel.
