Introduction

Managing the finances of a large number of domains can be a challenge due to the various due dates for their payments. Through the bulk renewal procedure for domains, the time spent managing them can be significantly simplified, and the risk of losing a domain due to late payment can be reduced.

Requirements

At least two active domains in the account

Steps

The first step is to log into the Hostico client account, after which we access the domain section from the main administration panel.

Sectiune domenii

The newly opened section will display all domains in the account (both active and inactive ones). From the top of the menu, we will go to Actions, where we will notice that there are two possible actions:

1. Renewal - Offers the possibility to check the domains that you want to be included on a renewal pro forma invoice
2. Renew all - By choosing this option, all active domains in the account will be automatically selected

Optiuni reinnoire domenii

If we want to filter domains based on the billing contacts allocated to each service, we can go to the Select contact section

Alegerea subcontactului

After ensuring that we have checked the domains we wish to renew, we complete the procedure by clicking the Confirm button.

Note

  • In the case of domains that have different billing contacts than the main account contact, individual invoices will be generated for each domain / group of domains separately with the relevant data.
  • Domain renewal is only possible for the maximum period allowed by the registrar, these values being present in the table on the Domain Terms page.
  • Bulk renewal of domains will not bring changes to the expiration dates of the domains, the periods paid in advance being automatically extended.
  • Some ccTLD domains (those belonging to specific countries) may have renewal limitations on the days of extension before billing (e.g., a domain may not be extended 30 - 60 - 90 days before expiration), therefore if any of the domains listed on the mass renewal invoice falls into this category, you will be contacted by the Hostico support team.
