Installing WordPress using WordPress Toolkit – Plesk

Introduction
- In this tutorial, we will present the steps to be followed for installing the Wordpress application through Wordpress Toolkit in the Plesk panel.
- The Wordpress Toolkit facilitates the installation and management of Wordpress applications within your hosting environment.
Requirements
- Access to the Plesk administration panel, username, and password.
Steps
- We will log in to the Plesk control panel.
- Wordpress Toolkit is accessible from the Main Menu in Plesk:

- The Install option will be selected from the displayed window.

- Installation options:
From the displayed menu, the desired installation will be configured:
The installation path will determine both the account under which WordPress will be installed, and whether the installation will be done with initial https support or not.
There is the possibility of selecting one of the preset sets of plugins and themes to facilitate the development of the website.
It is recommended to choose the latest version, Current version .

- Database Options:
It is recommended to keep the automatically generated values and customize them only if necessary.

- Automatic Update Options.
Updating the application, themes, and plugins used within an installation to the latest available version is a necessity both from the perspective of your site's maintenance and security.
However, to mitigate conflicts among the used elements, there is also the option to opt for only those updates that affect the application's security.

- After configuring the options, you can proceed to the actual installation by pressing the Install button.

- Note: If a predefined set of themes and plugins is chosen, its installation will be marked by the Plesk notification:

Upon completing the installation, you will have the option to customize WordPress by installing plugins and themes; this option is also available later from the WordPress Toolkit menu.
