The .well-known folders and their subfolders pki-validation (in the case of the cPanel control panel), acme-challenge (in the case of the Webuzo control panel), are automatically generated by the control panel and are used for generating free SSL certificates for the sites added to the hosting account.

It is not recommended to delete these folders, as it might create issues in the automatic generation of free SSL certificates.
